1.     How are you able to price your products more competitively than your competitors?
Medicaldepot.com tries to be as lean as possible with our management structure.  Apart from medical examination gloves, we do not import directly from our suppliers, which keeps our warehousing operations lean.  We do factory-direct shipments from our suppliers’ end.  Most importantly, we believe that we all have the right to affordable medical care and we do not believe in driving up the costs to our clients irresponsibly.
 
2.     Are the prices to Canadian and American clients the same?
Wherever possible, we try to set prices that are competitive to our markets.  In order to reach the US market, we have had to reduce our cost price to mitigate the costs of shipping.  In Canada, our pricing also has to take into account various provincial and federal taxes.  For these reasons, there can be differences in price for our Canadian and US clients.
 
3.     How quickly can my order be processed and sent to me?
Our client-service providers work diligently to get out your orders as expeditiously as possible.  If we receive your order before midday, we can usually get out your order by day’s end.  Failing that, we send out the orders the next day.
 
4.     Do your products meet with North American standards?
Absolutely.  We make sure that our suppliers comply with the highest product standards. 
 
5.     How do we ship in Canada?
We generally ship via Canada Post, Greyhound or Canpar.  For those clients who have agreed to pay by COD, we send shipments through Canada Post or Canpar.  In BC and Alberta, we ship almost exclusively through Greyhound.  For those clients who live in rural areas not served by Greyhound, shipments can be done through Canada Post.  Please advise our client-service agents if this would apply to you.  If a shipment needs to be returned to us, Canpar is used.
 
6.     I do not like giving out my credit card information.  What assurances can you give me that nothing untoward will happen if I do?
This is an entirely reasonable worry.  We understand that dealing with an on-line business is fraught with uncertainty, and for that reason we like to be as open and transparent as possible.  You have our guarantee that should you proceed by credit card that we will not process any sale until the order has been received by our clients.  We do allow clients to order by COD, but we have to be vigilant about this as well as we have had clients who tried to take advantage.  
 
7.     How do we ship in the US?
We use UPS as our courier. 
 
8.     Can I track my shipments?
All items sent out by Medical Depot.com have a tracking number and bar-code that allows us to see how a shipment is being processed during transit.  For any problem shipments, consult with a client-service agent and we track down the delinquent shipment.  (For clients paying by COD, it is essential that you not forget to affix the COD barcode on the return envelope.) Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will recieve email notification and a final copy of your invoice. This email will contain your tracking number.
 
9.     What if I am not happy with my order and would like to return it?
In such cases, in Canada, we arrange Canpar to pick up your order from the mailing address given on your order.  In the US, we use UPS.  Please make sure that all the items you have ordered are ready to be picked up.  We would appreciate to know the reason for your decision so that we can make the appropriate changes.  As costs of shipping have to be borne by one party regardless of fault, in such case where we conclude the reason for the return is due to buyer’s remorse and the like,  we do reserve the right to have clients pay a restocking fee.  This is a reasonable policy as it will help us keep our overall prices to our other clients as low as possible.
 
10.  I like your medical examination gloves, but I don’t like having to pay the shipping.  Are there ways to get around this?
If clients commit to orders of more than two cases of medical examination gloves, we will assume the costs of shipping. 
 
11.  What information can you provide about your medical examination gloves?
For medical examination gloves, orders are sent out in one-case increments, with 1000 gloves per case.   We sell Irie-brand gloves which have been recommended by numerous clients in areas of body art, car maintenance and child-care.  For reviews of our products, please refer to our testimonials at medicaldepot.com/testimonials.
